Nice way to shoot yourself in the hand.

It looks like he needs a better holster that doesn't cling to his gun requiring him to hold his belt down with his other hand....at least he's keeping his eyes on the threat.

He's NAVY. Probably would miss the deck if he was aiming. Besides, he's not supposed to shoot a gun, that's for the Marines.

Those men have more important jobs like scrapping rust, painting and picking up FOD.:lol2:

It's easy for us to criticise him, but the way I look at it, is that he had the stones to sign up and do his part to protect our country. Lots of people enter the military with little to no firearms experience, and being "dry fire training" this may very well be the first time he has held a pistol. Hopefully he is promptly corrected by the instructor, and after some trigger time will become proficient, and look at the big RKBA debate from a fresh perspective.

According to the article underneath he is holstering and not drawing. :innocent0

True, but, the accompanying text is often incorrect. I've seen them misname ships and planes.

Either way not good to muzzle your own hand.

I guess I'm now free to criticize, as I too carried a sidearm when CDO on a CVN.

Wait checking my "stones"...still there after 23 years of service to my country. Whew. :D

Not a criticism, I am a veteran. As I noted, at least the dipshit didn't have his finger on the trigger.

    Legend in my own mind
Lots of people have the "stones" to sign up. It doesn't mean they are any smarter or braver than anyone else. I used to work with a guy who was in the Navy. He was only in for like 3 or 4 years and was in his early 20's when I worked with him. He was the biggest cry baby/ dipshit I ever met. I couldn't believe that someone like him was "protecting" our country.

Yeah, we get our share of pussies in the military. We get a fair cross section of the population. I'll give him credit that he signed up and did his tour. That opens the "door" for him. What he does once he "walks in" is another matter entirely.
