FreeState Gun Range will be opening in the White Marsh area within the next ninety days. We will have 12 lanes. Please give us feedback as to how we can be the best public firearms facility in the area.

Allow indoor rifle calibers. Allow customers to use their own ammo. Provide enforcement of safety rules with trained RSO's. Offer memberships at rates below competition (Horst & McCann, On Target).

We will be located on the "new" 43 in one of the new office complexes. We plan to do training and would like to host competitions as well. What would you like to see?

Be courteous and personable while keeping the range safe and people will come back.

It seems like many range employees get mad at new shooters making simple mistakes, so when new shooter #12 of the day makes the mistake they get their head ripped off, and never come back.

    1) An address would be nice.

    2) Rental Information, Memberships Available, Calibers Allowed, Long Guns Allowed, etc.

    3) Don't be d*ckheads like Select Fire. Set and Post your rules and guidelines, be firm but courteous to customers in their enforcement.

    4) ROs are there for Safety. Not to shoot, scrounge up brass, handle the customers' weapons, gear or range bags without consent. ROs should be friendly, helpful and never rude to the customers.

    5) Most impotantly, Don't be D*ckheads like Select Fire.

Good Luck! Now go forth and earn our business:D
