Airborne Trooper would have a better answer, ‘44 is the least common year, followed by ‘42 and then ‘43. I need a ‘43. I’d say that they are all pretty rare.

My ‘42, in a ‘42 stock, was definitely used. I got her from Burns. My ‘44 is in basically unissued condition and sits in a ‘43 stock which is proper for that serial range.
Looking at that chart, I was surprised that there were more than P-26s and P-27s than SkYs M39s.
Thanks man, I already have a nice 43 Sk.y so this is a great score for me. On the broken one Im thinking that once i get the stock off i will try to spread the crack a bit and use a needle to try and get some tight bond in there, then clamp for a few days and then once that sets i will prob drill and use some sort of pin. maybe something like This
