    I was going to mention similar sightings in Mumbai, but didn't want to spoil positive memories of that trip by equating it with NYC. I could walk anywhere I wanted in Mumbai, night or day, and never felt threatened or at risk. Not so in NYC.

    Legalizing public urination would help people be better able to defend themselves from dangerous attackers. By urinating on yourself and your attacker, you may be able to discourage the criminal from continuing their attack. They need to legalize public defecation next because in my opinion flinging poo can be more effective for self defense than urine.
