Whats left after the "all encompassing" ban list in a .308 semi auto?

I really can't believe that M1As are banned.

The 'weapons of war' crap is going to end with no guns for anyone if we don't nip this in the bud.

    SERIOUSLY?!?! M1As?

I guess you missed the article where 1500-3000 dollar heavy battle designed rifles were being used every day in street crimes...oh wait.

    bm59 garand conversion

The BM-59 is on the list. However the BM-62 is not.

    BM-62:

There is also the FN-49's converted to .308 for the Argentine Navy; the closest rifle that one can get to a FAL now.

They must hang with us or surely they will hang alone.
12 gauge pump shotguns, 1903 bolts and the 1911 are all "weapons of War".
If the Fudds won't get behind modern sporting rifles then what they approve of is simply next on the list and the M1A getting the ban is surely proof of it.
