I know people that work in the building and they are sick that they didn't see it in time.

Very sad story and a nightmare if it was an accident.

FYI: The forum works better when your Headline is not "OMG" "oops", "Unbelievable", etc.

"Baby Left in Car -PAX River"…helps people find the info.

Very sad. May the child Rest In Peace. I will never be able to comprehend how people can forget/leave their child in a vehicle. Are people really that preoccupied in their lives/jobs that they forget about their own children. There is nothing worth more to me than my family and their safety.

I park in that lot every day.

I often take a break and walk through the parking lot in the morning after a few hours of coding.

I took a walk yesterday morning as well. Wish I would have seen/heard something.

I don't know how the hell you leave your kid in the car.

    There is no excuse.

To those ready to condemn the father or mother of this child, I will say this - you may never accept it, but this could happen to you, or someone you love. Being a new parent is stressful, especially when both parents are working. Combine stress, sleep deprivation, a chaotic schedule subject to frequent changes and disruptions.... sooner or later, the odds - however remote they may be - are going to catch up with someone. There is no such thing as an "impossible" accident - only statistically remote. Even if the odds are 1 in 500 million, on any given morning, that means that (when you factor in the millions of parents who drive their kids to day care every day) these things can and will happen with disturbing regularity.

It doesn't make it any less tragic, or excusable - but none of us are perfect; we ALL f*** up. But the person who f****d up this time will have to live with this for the rest of their lives. Just be thankful it wasn't you, and hope you never have to experience something like what they're going through.

    VERY well said.

More likely to be an accident in this case than when the vehicle is parked at Maryland Live Casino.

Agreed. Well said. I'm sure the father is besides himself.

Well said, .... pretty civil from the guy with "shove your civility" in his signature.

I work near there, I can't help but believe this was not intentional - a tragic mistake. One the father will tear himself apart much deeper and more severe than anyone berating him here.

It can certainly happen to the best parent. Dad may not be used to taking the baby with him. Baby is asleep in the back seat. I can't even begin to understand how bad he feels.
