Trying to come up with a few general ideas for an OWB leather 1911 holster. Doesn't need to be top-o-the-line, just something functional and value-priced. I want it to offer good protection from the elements, as I will be using it on the farm (driving tractors and such.) Any ideas?
Also, is leather really the way to go? I currently have a few Blackhawks and a few other brands, but wanted to try something different this time around.
What say you guys who have them?
