NOTICE: at 1:35, the Dad goes 'baaah' and the deer stops,
and looks up. This techniqe works.
Or whistle or even say HEY. You got one second to shoot.

Actually didnt look like a spine shot. Im suprised it dropped like it did but its awesome seeing the young guys get their first deer because you know they are hooked for life.

it was a neck shot...most likely severed the spinal cord...I would have waited to get a little more broadside to get the deer to stop but it worked out for the kid.
