Does anyone know of any survival classes that are taught around the SOMD area? I was also interested in some beginner outdoor firearm training classes. Thanks!

There is a weekend class that covers both and is relatively affordable. Fri/Sat in PG county at the town center; just walk around with a couple $100 bills hanging out of your front pocket, and a loaded pistol in your back pocket.

If you last the two day event - you're good to go.

Are you looking for survival training or firearms training?

Beware attending survival training, it means different things to different people. Unless you live or travel in the deep woods often, you probably be better off with an urban survival class and practice a few primitive survival skills.

Firearms training is much easier, most any Industry Partner instructor will serve you well. In SOMD look into these offerings: http://www.mdshooters.com/forumdisplay.php?f=140

Sadly true. Although the zombies usually have better table manners and a higher level of personal hygeine.
