This is obviously Trump's fault. Chuckie and Nancy know we don't need a wall. Walls don't work, because, well, I don't know, they just don't because Chuckie says so. If only we had a few more drones to take pictures of MS-13 members crossing the border before they ran off into the American night this wouldn't be a problem.

MS-13 is bad down there. Hopefully that problem gets resolved, but right now repeat offenders keep popping up even after being deported in some cases.....

MS-13 brings in a lot of cash through their illegal activities. I would so love to see a thorough investigation into where some of their funding has been going. As in any "political advocacy."

The girl says she was 14 and told the 50+ she was. He says didn't know. Interesting article, goes into more than just about the girl and him. Oh, he was carrying a CASA card.

That's quite the story. Despite WJLA being able to source lots of background for it, no mention of this guy in the Washington Post. The Post had been pretty good at covering MS-13 related crime, but they've been getting negative feedback from the activist community for this focus if I correctly remember an NPR report from a few months ago.

MS13 has been very active in the Wheaton area for years. They should have their own representatives on the County Council; it's only fair, given their contributions to the county.

They provide plenty of work for the police, the courts, and purveyors of legal services, as well as pharmaceutical sales and the resulting revenue, which is plowed back into the local economy.

Got to wonder who at MoCo liquor enforcement gets paid off if an underage 'cocktail waitress' in a licensed bar goes unnoticed.

That thought occurred to me as well. And it wasn't just one girl, as the article intimated. And if there's one bar...

I would belly laugh if Frosh is mixed up in this in some way.

IIRC, you don't have to be 21 to legally work at a bar, you just can't drink while working.

I still have a lot of trouble understanding how residents here are like "lol, it's fine" when it comes to the county's immigration enforcement policies. If you look at the county police's statistics, there are basically like three spots in the county that have serious gang crime problems: Gaithersburg, Wheaton, and Langley Park. You can do some quick math about whether poor immigrants are more prevalent in those areas. No one's asking the cops to discriminate against anyone, just to do the normal thing and run ICE checks on everyone they arrest. Alas, this is probably only going to change once a few people in Bethesda and Olney get shot and the white people get scared - they're OK with brown people hurting and killing each other, it seems, so long as it's taking place "somewhere else".

In order to bar-tend you have to be 21, to serve alcohol in a place licensed as 'restaurant' you have to be 18. To work as a bus-boy or anywhere else around the licensed premises you have to be 16. This is something our local indian and pakistani owned liquor stores get busted on all the time. They have their 'cousins friends step-son' cover the store while they just step out for an hour when the board inspector shows up. Kid is either underage or when the age is right, he doesn't have documented server training.

I do understand why the moco inspectors dont rock the boat with the latino owned bars in Wheaton:
    - they dont want to get dragged through the press for picking on those 'hardworking hispanic bar owners'.
    - they dont want to end up in a park with 50 stab wounds because they interfered with the local MS13 head-pimp.

That's no different from folks in the 'baltimorgue' thread on MDS making bets on the year end homicide number. People are very tribal, until evil comes knocking on their door, they dont care, even if it includes 14 year olds getting pimped out right under everyones eyes.

And Pelosi wants to tell you that terrorists don't cross the southern border.

The leftists also love to say that illegal immigrants commit less crimes in this country than legal citizens but, guess what? Crossing into the country illegally and trafficking drugs/illegal drug money is committing crimes. They also go mostly unchecked while here so we don't really know how many other crimes they commit.

Also as Zoostation pointed out in post #8 criminal organizations like MS13 generate a lot of cash through their illegal activities. Who's benefiting from that money politically?

Actually in Maryland you can Bartend at 18. Most places won't hire someone that young but it is legal. Maryland doesn't differentiate between servers and bartenders. 18 for both.
