I always wanted a Ruger 10/22, specifically the Ruger 10/22 Tactical Target model. The only things that held me back were their availability and the lack of a threaded barrel. fast forward to 2016, I started considering a build, but not owning a 10/22 made it kinda hard to envision what I needed or wanted. Well it's 2017 and my wife declared that she had 1k for my birthday, this would be my first firearm purchase of the year. So many guns ran through my mind, but I settled on this Tactical Solutions X-Ring .22LR. With the change left over, I paired it with a 2017 3-9x40 Vortex Diamondback Tactical scope with 2017 precision matched 1" rings. Happy Birthday to me, thanks to my wife!! Time to shoot this thing, damn this weather!
