I think I'll go buy another blue label G19 for under $400 just for the hell of it now, after all this talk. Lol

Between this thread and JLowes Windham AR thread I feel like I need more of the same just because.

Oh hell yeah - that has started me having a change of heart. The sig p320 looks freaking awesome and since i'm more of a sig guy anyway, yes!

I have the P229 E2 now and that's my baby.

    Must be long lost brothers.

    Not an e2 but sorta.

No, not many - I baby my weapons.

My 229 was played with hard and put up wet.
I've always been a fan of all it's marks. It was a police gun. Maybe it shot someone. Guns are bad like that. Sadly I'll never know how bad it was as a youth gun.

My glocks have cool fish skin like marks on them from the stealth gear holsters I use.

Ain't easy owning guns that get carried :( you lucky Marylanders don't need to worry about guns asking to be taken along, isn't even an option for most.

    well like I said, I have a 19 gen 4 and a 21 gen 4.

I was thinking about getting the 17. and if so, gen 3 or 4?

If you like the Gen 4 pistols, I'd stay with that. The Gen 3 are a little different in your hands. If you're happy with the way the Gen 4 fits your hands, I'd recommend staying with the Gen 4 when looking for the 17.

    Good Luck!

ps I may have a 17G4 for sale.

What no Gen 1 love? Mine is still going strong.

The Gen 4 is a general improvement over the Gen 3, though I don't like the aggressive grip texture as much.

But, it's a Glock. I mean, whichever you choose will likely still be kicking by Gen 7 when they are loaded with self-guided bullets.

Personally I prefer the G19 as the better all-around use but for a range gun the G17 has a marginally better sight radius. Otherwise I can't tell much difference nor can comfortably carry either one without bulky clothing.

If you have a gen1 19 your sitting on some real cash. As I recall less then 3K were made.
