Not my greatest pictures. But. I got it in my head I wanted to try to catch arrows in flight. It took a lot of takes back and forth from the tripod but here we are.

Dude, that's totally cool! I got one kinda like that once with my flintlock where you can see the ball in the muzzle flash, but I really like this series here better.

    Great pics!

Cool looking bow, what is it?

    Cedar arrow?

What grip are you using to draw, doesn't look like 'three fingers'.

Thumb draw technique. I practice Traditional Chinese Archery ala the Gao Ying school of teaching. You also shoot off the “wrong” side of the bow. It
Is actually a Goldtip Traditional at 560grains there abouts. The bow is a Han Wind 1 by Mariner Bows. I’m a big fan!!

    Brentona...

    ...a question for you. Serious.

Does your beard get in the way when you're drawing the bowstring up to the side of your face?

I've been growing a full beard all this year. I have a compound bow but haven't gotten it out of the case yet to determine if it's going to be a problem. Normally I've been hunting with my crossbow which would be a non issue regarding facial hair; but a perpendicular bowstring along the side of my cheek is giving me pause at the moment.

Every now and again I’ll graze it but it doesn’t pose too much of an issue!
It doesn’t impair the shot or hurt though :-)
