I'm looking for an FFL who will do a rifle transfer from out of state for me in the Annapolis area.

I'd prefer dealing with someone that doesn't advertise that they will do transfers as a come-on to get you into their store to try to sell you something you don't want. For that reason I'd like to hear from people who have actually used a given FFL to do a transfer. I know I can get the names of several from the auction sites but I want to avoid weeding out the come-on types.

There's a fellow named Chris Rhines over on THR (www.thehighroad.org)that'll do transfers at a reasonable cost. No storefront either.

I'll see if I can find a number for him.

What's wrong with The Armory? He seems fair.

I don't know of anything wrong with them. I don't think I was aware that they did transfers.
