    NAA Earl Cap and Ball

I bought this because it's hard to find a rimfire NAA revolver in MD. As much as I dislike this, I am glad I got the cap and ball because it's more fun than I expected. It's like an upgraded version of my desk cannon.

    Me too. Nice collection.

It's like metal that was formed to mostly fit in your grasp, just extending a little more, while retaining the ability to shoot 5 or 6 effective rounds. For me at least, revolvers approach gun art with the snub nose being the purest and most intimate form (no double entendre intended).

That 686-1 is pretty. I just bought a 66-1 in the box, I don't think it was fired...I post up a pic (if I can get it resized) when I bring her home.
