I'm just getting in from this show and while there was no line to get inside man oh man was it crowded, or at least more crowded than the last show in January. It seemed to me like there were less modern handguns and more fudge, pickle, coin, and knife sellers.

Well, it's time to face facts...the market is changing. The great gun buying frenzy of 2008-2016 is over. We're going to see a significant number of companies go under, I fear.

1st time ever there and even at 4:00 PM it was crowded. Since I started shooting 2.5 years ago, the only show I ever attended was the Howard county show which I thought was underwhelming. This one seemed much better overall....better facilities, selection, everything.

Oh and I found what I went there for: powder, primers, and a great soft pistol case

For those that may not be aware (which seemed to be almost everyone when I got there at 8:45 this morning), you can now pre-purchase tickets online and avoid that ever-present ticket line around opening time. There were about 6 of us total this morning that had pre-purchased and they let us skip the line and stand inside the main doors so we were the first in. Get the Gunshowapp (search that in App Store) and you can pre-purchase. It sends a code in an email they scan at the door.

A rifle was stolen at the show today. They were annoucing overy the loud speaker what model it was. I honestly had a hard time hearing ( I mostly hear ringing ) not sure if they recovered it or not. They said the prep may try and sell it at the show.
