    Looks AMAZING.

    And they ARE making a full auto as well as double-action of which the double action will be even more amazing. I expect this to challenge the CRK, Striker, and ZT folders that have established themselves as the strongest of folders. I've been waiting on Microtech to make something like this with a frame lock that is a heavy use folder priced less than many of the other Microtech models. I think my wait is over.

    While the Marfione Customs are 2-3 grand, the production versions (which are finally shipping) are in the $350 ballpark putting them right on ZT0300 and Umnumzaan and SnG pricing...

    Not to be outdone, ZT introduced the ZT 0454...which uses a unique composite blade and the new KVT bearings. The use of carbon fiber and titanium looks so sexy. Word is price will be around $450-500.

    They made some serious wake at Blade...
    Overall Knife Of The Year®: Zero Tolerance 0454;
    Most Innovative American Design: Microtech D.O.C. Kill Switch;
    Knife Collaboration Of The Year®: Microtech Mick Strider;
    Manufacturing Quality Award: Chris Reeve Knives. (while my CRKs are my favorite knives and my only EDCs I actually carry, I've been hoping someone would give them a run and potentially dethrone them given they have won this award for over a decade straight...the above seems like a really good start)

    Thanks for this post. Just pre-ordered a Microtech DOC auto from BladeHQ. I'm not sure if that model is the Killswitch version, but videos of it look awesome.

    Cheers!
