MDS weird pop up window

This has been happening intermittently to me all day. I erased my cookies and closed my browser and it still happens.

1) I click on a thread
2) A page from the SBR thread opens and a sign-in pop up window appears for militarymorons. Not a name I recognize.

I cannot reproduce it, it seems totally unpredictable as to what thread will trigger it.

Turn on your pop-up blocker and trash your cache.

Will that affect the MDS pm window? (turning on the popup blocker for MDS)
Does the sign in window mean MDS is being hacked or is it generated by something in my cache?

I just got that same thing.

Happened to me too when I clicked the last page of the SBR Questions thread.

view source on the last page. Perhaps that is it. requires login to view..trying to auto-open or preview the JPG

there are two instances found of this I showed the first.

it is on the last page middle with user Hawkeye. There is a tiny window for a JPG on the bottom of that post. The second instance is a Quote reply right below.

I don't suppose I could ask you to measure it? What I'd really be interested in would be from the muzzle of the barrel, without any muzzle device, to the end of the bare tube, as well as with the stock fully extended.

The measurement on the bare tube would allow us to figure out how much length the various different favorite stocks we all have would add.

I will do that when I get home for you, I also put the thickest butt pad on and I think I got to 29 1/8

It took me a while to find it, even after you pointed it out because it is not visible in Firefox, only Internet Explorer

This happens now and then...Hawkeye may have copied an image link that required login. I deleted my post in the SBR thread but I'm still getting prompted.

i think that protegeV guy has something to do with it hahaha

I got that message at work when reviewing the sbr thread too.

I said the same thing. Cached on his computer or something and it embedded in his post along with what he wrote

Lately I have been getting the message “server cannot be found” when trying to post to threads. Been happening pretty often lately. Have to hit back button then forward. Sometimes works sometimes doesn’t. Always clear my cache and cookies. Anyone else having this problem?

No.. But I keep seeing these advertisement/pop-up for the Springfield XD-S mod 2. It was even attached to this post I am replying to..

Yep, I get this now and then on my iPad, I usually just hit the refresh and it takes me to where I was headed. I just figured it was the connection on my end.
