LOL I hope I don't have to do that! Do you know what barrel he had?

    Kreiger.

He said his rounds were running about 250fps faster until the barrel was broken in. I’m not sure how the physics work, but i’m guessing the there is more friction in the barrel the chamber pressure is higher. ?

The only thing that I don't like about the RPR and the Tikka - at least going by the pics posted, is the AR grip.

It's nice to be able to swap them out, but from my experience with the XLR and the B&C A5, seems my personal preference is the angle, spacing, and dimensions of the palm swell on the A5. Puts the pad of my trigger finger nearly picture perfect where it should be.

I'm on the 6.5 bandwagon myself. Started with a 6.5 X 47L (Cooper Phoenix) will get my 6.5-284 Norma (Custom Savage Predator built on a 116 Action) and will round out my collection with either the Tikka T3X Tac A1 or The Savage Stealth Evolution in 6.5 Creedmore. Gotta sell some stuff first or face the wrath of the senior household executive!

I ran the MPA vertical grip on my RPR and liked it quite a bit over the skinny angled A2 type grip it came with.

    On rifles/shotguns, I'm a southpaw.

If they develop an ambi or southpaw friendly model, I'll be all over it for the XLR.

    Ouch, that's quite the disability.

Has advantages and disadvantages, no denying that.

From the bench or prone, advantage is working the bolt with the right hand and never breaking my firing grip/position with the left hand.

Worked out great the last time I shot 600 F-Class, winds were switching pretty consistently, so when I saw an opening - I'd 'mad minute' half my string before the winds switched again. Still shot a 589/600. But I probably lost a few X's going that route. :)
