Idpa is sat. 7th and uspsa is sun the 8th.

I switched my firearms around so I can shoot my open Glock with you in the PM squad. That means I have to shoot my rimfire guns in the morning. Hope the weather forecast is still OK.

I tend to prefer the ground solid and frozen over wet and muddy anyday. Obviously dry and warm is not happening this early in the year. But I need as much match practice as possible before the York 3m/3g and the PSA Shootout. I am ending up shooting PSA on Thursday AM and Sunday PM. Could not decide on a 2nd gun early enough to shoot on the weekend only. With my work schedule this will have to do.

PNTC matches on Mar. 7-8 have been cancelled. We have close to a foot of snow on the ground at this time.

fyi quantico cancelled their sunday uspsa and changed it to a 4 stage steel challenge

smps also cancelled their sunday classifier match.

4 stages of steel challenges isn't a lot of shooting, but I signed up for the quantico sunday match just to at least get some shooting in this weekend.

I think the Sat. Falling Steel match at MPC is still on. Sunday's Rimfire Steel has been canceled but the MD on Saturday is made of much sterner stuff. We will see if it goes off. I have not been down to see how much snow MPC got.
