    What does this mean?

ASC’s 6.8 SPC Stainless Steel magazines are engineered with the highest levels of quality for increased longevity, simply the best in the industry! Our magazines are manufactured 100% start to finish in the USA using .020 gauge 410 Stainless Steel Alloy, heat treated for superior strength and lasting endurance. Our magazines are chemically treated for corrosion resistance [ref QQ-P-35] and coated with our proprietary finish, Marlube which is a wear-in not wear-off coating that burnishes into the surface providing self-lubricating properties. The interior dimensions of OAL 2.316” ± .002 are perfect for reloads. We produce the results you demand and need!

    1) A post with a title like this will get very little response, because you're not giving people any reason to actually click on it. You could be asking about lawnmowers, politics, Harry Potter, or possibly something gun related. There's no way to tell, and people will often just scroll past.

    2) What does WHAT mean? Which part of the text you pasted are you having trouble with? Are you asking about why someone might choose stainless steel for a magazine? Are you doubting that "made in USA" is a meaningful thing, with regard to quality? Are you not sure about acronyms like "OAL?" Wondering what "Marlube" is?

One of the things that makes this forum so good is the exchange of good information. But that can't happen without constructively asked questions.

Simply giving the interior dimensions of the magazine so reloaders will know what bullets will fit. Rember the 6.8 SPC was originally designed so it would fit GI issue standard 5.56 mm magazines. Some reloaders like to experiment and see how far they can push the envelope. They may want to use bullets with a longer profile, assuming they will still chamber.

Normal 115 gr. 6.8 mm SPC bullet:

But there is load data for 130 gr bullets out there so here are some possible choices which may be able to use some of the interior capacity of that magazine.

    Flat base 130 gr bullet:

    Boat tail 130 gr bullet:

These experiments are for advanced reloaders because lots of variables involved and many things to check. Just to illustrate why some reloaders might be interested in just how long a cartridge may fit in a magazine. Not likely to work well except with longer barrel rifles.
