Anybody in Calvert County willing to teach a noob? I've started with a few 9mm, but no way I am shooting them until someone who knows what the hell they're doing checks my work. Too much room for error.

Check out the list on the previous page for someone near you to give you a hand.
My tip for you is to confirm your powder charges are all within 0.2gr (max) with a scale, for 5-10rds in a row then visually inspect EVERY case before seating a bullet. If you're not loading hot, the visual will tell you if something is wrong.
No powder or a double charge will be very obvious to your eye. If you're off by 0.03-0.4gr nothing bad will happen to you.

Only one member from Calvert is on the list and he hasn't posted here since 2015, so I threw this out there hoping someone else might offer to help. Thanks for the advice. There are so many aspects that I don't understand and I won't be comfortable unless someone else shows me kindergarten style. I've had the equipment for years and finally worked up the nerve to start messing with it, but now I'm not confident to shoot them.

I have a lot of experience loading 9mm, both minor and major power factor on my 1050. For minor I run my press with an autobot. I also roll size my brass, some think it’s over kill but resizing dies do not get bulges all the way out. I am in the Owings Mills area.
Did you read the directions on how to maintain the list?
