What is the rise in stock mtb bars? I'm pretty tall and I'm thinking of getting taller bars, but I dunno how much rise i need.
I feel like I'm leaning forward a lot and it puts a strain on my lower back and hands/wrists.

There are all sorts of bars, and you can also raise your hands with a new stem.

Bike fitting costs $100-150 or so. It's well worth the cost if you ride a ton. I don't know any fitters in your area, but can recommend some close to DC. They'll figure out the best combination of parts to make you most comfortable and efficient.
