Trimmers.
There are trimmers, then there are TRIMMERS.
When I started reloading (1979) I used an RCBS case trimmer. It was an early one with a collet shell holder.
What a POS it was!
With ANY deviation of casehead diameter, the length of the case changed.
Long story short, I now have (for .223 and .308) the Little Crow "World's Finest Trimmer"!!
What a piece of machinery!!!!!!!
Once set............ they are FAST. (Well, as fast as I need to be.)
Someone will surely come along and say, "Buy the Giraud." (Not certain of the spelling.)
With the Little Crow "WFT", I have found the last trimmer(s) that I'll ever need.
Now, you CAN do nicely with the Lee "Zip Trim" on a budget.
When I load .45-70, that's the animal that I use.
Congrats on going to the next step and loading your own!!!
