    When I was a kid I went to the turkey shoots at the Izaak Walton League in Poolesville. When I kept coming home with stuff She was like "How are you beating these guys? Aren't they more experienced at this than you are?" I had to explain to her that skill had little to do with it. Back then no one was shooting scoped shotguns with super full chokes. The guys that could shoot were shooting skeet and trap for turkeys. I think they stopped the shoots due to the amount of the drinking that was going on. This was 35 years ago.
