I'm looking hard at the American Spirit grips from Rio Grande, trying to decide if too redundant for the Flag Holster. Would be great in a nice leather holster. Altamont's stag design is better, and RAACO has good selection of exotic woods.

OTOH , I must be too much of an old fart, the Punisher designs don't do much for me.

Is anyone interested in damascus grips? Not sure when they will be available but I know someone that makes them.

Billy Meekins makes Damascus 1911 grips. You've seen him at the gun shows. He's known for his knives but he makes some great looking grips too. His number is shown at the beginning of the video.

I've got a few of his knives. My favorite is a Damascus folder. Not too ornate but a folder none the less.
