Driving through Mechanicsville MD earlier and noticed a new nutrition store opening up right where Gym Ratz used to be. I can’t remember the name but it was ______ Nutrition. Could this be a 2.0?

Found it on bookface, it’s Anchor Nutrition. A smoothie and juice bar, didn’t mention anything about firearms at this time.

BigRick has a good memory. There's a thread somewhere here from 3-5 months ago where this was discussed and the internet detectives uncovered the connections within the LLC.

Might was well take advantage of the LLC and use up all the leftover smoothie ingredients. Heck, I'm sure she saved the blenders from the old days. Gotta admit that I enjoyed some of the drinks there, as well as a few of the nutritional supplements.

I saw that, too. Stopped by the gun store at the nearby strip mall, as I was going to turn around to get back to 231 I looked over and yup, a new nutrition store. So...how much longer until the combo store reopens??

His mother owned the gun shop, he just worked there. I say she's just as guilty at screwing over people as he was.

I doubt it. From far away and not involved in this mess. I think they where blindsided and caught unaware. They probably bled out their savings or sold all the furniture to cover their sons **** up.

Anyone here want to jump straight into running an FFL with no chance of turning a profit, threats of federal crimes and the looming specter of lawsuits?

You can't really believe that. She didn't run anything. Paperwork may have been in her name. But as for running stuff she had no clue. All my calls when dealing with them that she answered were always referred to her son. She couldn't provide any information.

I agree. I met his mother and father a few times and they were really nice people who didn't know a lot about the gun business. He used to have them watch the store when he had to run out somewhere.

I don't know what happened to the guy but I think his parents were caught off guard.
