To me, they're like an old friend I haven't seen in a very long time. S&W wood grips are beautiful but, not very practical in terms of comfort for long range sessions.
Why’d you put such nice grips on that scratched up rust bucket??

I know, there's a special place in revolver hell for people like me. We'll spend eternity shooting a Llama Super Comanche and having to re-tighten the extractor rod after every shot so the cylinder doesn't bind. And I'll be in good company, too. Fidelity will be there, wanting me to shoot his custom Chiappa Rhino and all the Taurus fans on MDS will be cheering me on as I line-up the sights on my Raging Judge with .454 Casull loads. It won't be very pleasant, that's for sure.

Blaster will be there holding a pitcher of ice water over his head and repeatedly yelling, "You're cupping! Stop cupping!" To get a drink, I have to wade thru pile after pile of his 'lightly soiled' IWB holsters but can never make it more than halfway thru before turning around in disgust, overcome by the fumes.

It's really what I deserve for putting such gorgeous rubber grips on a POS.

Ya just can’t shoot safely without your rubbers on.

Go big or go home.

We have a few trips planned this summer to wilderness areas of Wyoming and Montana, so I just picked this up to bring with me for my grizzly medicine. You can't adjust pepper spray for windage...

I think if I do get charged by a grizzly, I won't even feel the recoil or hear the blast.

I'm not looking forward to the first few rounds out of it. At least I can load some light 45 colts for practice though.
