    These are gtg in MD.

Try to find a supply of surplus stripper clips to feed them - it is no longer legal to convert to detachable mags here.

They probably have a cleaning kit in the "chinese finger trap" in the butt of the stock; if not, they're only a few bucks on ebay.

As of a few years ago China hadn't provided official "date of manufacture" data to US, so BATF couldn't determine if they were 50+ years old.

Didn't stop Classic, RTI, AIM, JG, Century, and SAMCO to name a few. PSA won't ship to C&R period. Same rules applied to the Carcanos they got in a while back. They're as bad as the Fudd FFLs that won't honor a 03FFL on GB.

BATF doesn't require official dating from the country of manufacture. All that they required in 2011 was an adequate explanation of a dating method for the Chinese guns from the importers.

The method they went with was the one provided by Steve Kehaya. At the time that dating method was believed to be only applicable to factory 26 carbines. Since then the dating method has been shown to be off by one year and also applicable to the nearly all of the 100+ known Chinese arsenals.

However, as far as imports are concerned the dating method still only applies to factory 26 carbines. Until someone resubmits an updated dating method to BATF.

As I understand it, the Albanian caches of Type56's consists of numerous non-/26\ carbines.

Judging by how long they have been available at PSA and them not selling to FFL-03s, it seems like they're not selling like hot cakes...

I was hoping they'd be gone so as to avoid temptation. Maybe the cosmoline cleanup is a turnoff to others, too. The description and sample pics are enticing.
