Help me pimp out my rem 1100 for home defense

depends what you want, i have several and my brother just picked up another 870 i was a nice brother and stole his and had it drilled and tapped for a scope for his birthday. So he's gunna keep that one set-up as a slug gun, and use his other for turkey,geese, etc.

Different gauges too. Some like having a 20 o 28 solely for busting clays. Others just like an excuse to get more shotguns.

I hear that about different gauges, but my 500 is my slug gun, my model 12 is my clay, goose, trap gun. But i dont need 2 12 gauge pump sluggers or whatever. Thats just me.

Huh... I've never had an issue with my 88...

I've put less than 100 rounds through it though.....

drott, pick yourself up an 870- new or used. clean it, then shoot it. a lot. i have two 870s one is a trap gun, the other, well, it does everything else.
the one modifications i have made to them involve gun fit and adding a sling.
in my case, the nut behind the gun needs much more work than the gun itself.
