    Can you have it sent to another C&R holder and then transferred to you, or would that transfer between C&R holders somehow be illegal?

    It would be illegal for the C&R holder to buy it with the intent to sell/transfer it, since that would be "acting as a dealer." However, it is legal for C&R licensee #1 to buy one for personal use, end up in a situation where he needs money the next day, and then sell it to person #2 (whether licensee or eligible nonlicensee). It's all about intent.

    Talk to Bill @ Bill's Bullseye. He is in upper MOCO. If you show him the legality of your situation he should do the transfer. I have done this on numerous occasions when he thought something was illegal I showed him the paperwork/proof and he changed his mind. Also appointment only.
