I recently received some 45 auto rim range brass. I know that it requires a different shell holder than 45 ACP for reloading. I would be shooting them out of a Glock 21. So, my questions are as follows:

1.) Is auto rim the same as auto (thought this was just a generic term in use for SAAMI)?

2.) Does the auto rim brass require different dies than the ACP?

3.) Would this ammo fire from the Glock alright? (I have searched the internet pretty decent and am finding mostly info on shooting ACP in a revolver using moon clips).

4.) If the auto rim is ok to use, does it use the same load data as the ACP?

Thank you for the information. I guess I never thought of wikipedia to use as a reference for anything reloading/shooting related. I will, however, in the future.

Yeap, Auto Rim is for use in .45 ACP revolvers without using a moon (or half moon) clip.
