I went either last year or the year before, can't remember which. It's on the smaller side, but also not the same dealers you would see at say the Silverado shows. You will not find really anybody selling made in China junk, more of the older rifles that come in nice wood stocks selling what I'm guessing are private collections. I've only gone a few times over the years as I usually have something going on or I just plain forget. I felt the money was well spent as it's going to the Elks and the people collecting money in the lobby were super friendly. Hope that helps a little.

Nice, small show. As has been said, very little modern stuff matter of fact they frown on modern stuff at this show. If you are looking for older rifles, shotguns and such this is the place. Lots of neat old military rifles and acc's too. Always something neat to look at.

PACA used to hold their show at the fairgrounds years ago. For C&R worth the trip.

While it is nice to look at the collector quality staff, but do they also have "collectors quality" prices?

How far of a drive is that from Fredneck to Duffy's? Might do that myself if I have time.
Without traffic, I'd say 1:15. I take 27N then head east through Hampstead and over to Sparks.
Sweet! According to mapquest they're only 47 mins from my house. That's way closer than I was thinking they were.

Was there this morning at opening. Not much that I was interested in buying besides a couple small things. Neat to look at some of the displays though. Might consider bringing my k98k back to see if anyone wants to buy it
I'm going to try to sell my trapdoor.
Ended up trading it for an 1848 Harpers Ferry and ca$h.
