Montgomery County requires you to buy your ammo at Gilbert’s. Can’t let people drive around with a gun and ammo unless they are criminals.

There is no law against having ammo in your car in Moco.
Having to buy ammo at Gilberts to shoot there was a requirement that Gilberts had to follow in order to get the county to agree to having the range built.
You said you couldn’t drive around with guns and ammo. That’s why a few of us responded. I’ve been to a range before that requires you to buy their ammo because they knew what their backstop could handle. I don’t buy that. I think it’s just a way to get more money.Nice try, I didn't say all ammo in the county must be purchased at Gilbert's. Only that if you shoot at Gilbert's you must buy your ammo at Gilberts according to Montgomery County.
This right here is incorrect.Montgomery County requires you to buy your ammo at Gilbert’s. Can’t let people drive around with a gun and ammo unless they are criminals.

Maybe it was just meant as a joke.
That is amazing news!!! I may get a membership!I went here today because I was short on time. As of January 2023, you no longer have to purchase their ammo! Luckily, I had some with me. Definitely a game changer in my opinion.
TBH, I don't care much about any of that as long as they let me use a shot timer and run bill drills from the holster, using my own ammo.1 of the worse ranges ive ever been to. Just seems cluttered, unorganized, and a fudd headquarters. not worth it
