    wow, hand a loaded gun to someone behind you in the back seat. then guy in back seat pulls trigger, before checking chamber.

    very stupid and very sad.

    i don't like gunshow policies regarding no loaded guns inside as that leads to holstering and unholstering etc outside the show or in vehicles and more handling increases the likelihood of something bad happening. this is totally different.

    Sorry guys, no excuse for this. Too many safety violations, too much stupidity. This is the stuff that gives all of us safe gun owners a bad name. My prayers for the wife's recovery.

    This is not an (AD) accidental discharge, that would imply mechanical failure.. It is a negligent discharge. (ND)

    I was about 30 yards away when this happened, on my way into the show. Rendered first aid until local medics arrived. Poor gal was very, very lucky. Local news reports she was discharged later same day.
