    Not sure if my sarcasm meter is broke or not.

    Maybe drawing his gun at a raccoon that was within kicking distance wasnt the right decision. A nice punt across the woods followed up with then breaking leather and acquring sites may have been more appropriate.

    I can't disagree.
    My post was about how is being in combat with "bad guys shooting at you with machine guns" in any way comparable to trying to eliminate a rabid raccoon at one's feet?

    A healthy raccoon might well have been handled with a good kick. A rabid one may have been more like a pit bull on PCP .
