Vudoo Gun Works

We have any long range .22 shooters in here? For the last month I have been reading and searching for the parts to build the best LR 22 rifle I could.

Has anyone else had the chance to shoot the V22 from Vudoo Gun works?

I got a chance to shoot it this weekend at the world shoot and I was very impressed.

Anyone have any other options or thoughts on long range builds?

Haven't seen one in person but I have been drooling over the pictures and write up on another forum. I'm wondering how the accuracy compares to something like a Kidd.

That's almost indirect-fire with a .22!

Obviously you don't know how much really good .22 rifles can cost. Try going down to Hendershots in Hagerstown and pricing one of the Volquartsen customs down there.

I can swallow the price if a good rifle...its buying cases of ammo looking for the perfect speed (1050 fps) for a lots that fall into that speed range.

Shooting benchrest 22s is NOT a cheap game. $800 in wind flags...50x scope etc

Eley has a test range in Texas:
http://www.eley.co.uk/test-ranges

That is where all the best shooters go to select lot numbers of ammo.
