.22WMR Whoo Hooo !

I stopped into Wally World in Alexandria Va for a pit stop, and of course cruised the ammo display . They had two boxes of my favorite .22WMR , the elusive W-W 40gr JHP !

Been a long time to see the HP on a shelf . $10.87 , but I wasn't concerned over price , I specifically prefer this over all other .22WMR .

I've seen various other brands, and even W-W in the FMJ . It's specifically the W-W JHP that has been elusive .

I've been seeing .22 WMR up in these parts for months no and they're all HPs.

So, since you guys are up on 22 mag ammo,
I guess I can ask you all:

Is 22 mag really worth it over a good, zippy
22 LR? Is there really enough more bang
sobthat it’s worth the buck?

22mag is a flat shooting round. Very little drop compared to 22lr. More punch and better accuracy. Great round for groundhogs and many use it for coyotes.

Also, .22WMR is available with better constructed bullets for bigger small-game.
