Don't Forget the clothing that will be worn while using the shottie. Duck/goose blinds in the cold where she will be layered up
will add bulk, and a shorter LOP will be desired.

When I was into trap shooting some of the shooters cut the stock for Winter shooting(Coats) and them installed a spacer for summer shirt sleeve shooting.

That's why I have Graco adjusters on my guns. They allow a 1" Lop adjustment as well as side to side and vertical adjustment.

ps: As others have said, this may not be advisable for a $500 gun. My Gracos installed were about $400 several years ago, and a fitting with Jack was about the same.

Also, for a woman there should be more pitch to the butt. The bottom of the butt should be more forward, otherwise it will dig into her.

If you haven't noticed, women are built differently than men. :)

Also, LOP will change a bit whether the shotgun is used low gun and mounted, versus shooting a shouldered gun.

Too bad Bart's is not still open. Bart knew shotgun fitting.

I agree with not cutting the original stock.
Jack is alive and kicking and fitting and selling guns (shotguns only) as well as giving lessons. Can be reached through http://www.onlinebarts.com/
