    Every year my family likes to take a driving tour of Christmas light displays that people set up in their yards. Does anyone have recommendations for "must see" displays in Howard County?

    The Festival of Lights is the main attraction in Columbia. Off Route 29 or 175 at Meriwether Post Pavilion. There's an entrance fee per car.

    They're festivus lights and they're solar powered.
    No hurt feelings and low environmental impact.


    Does that guy in Beaverbrook still have the big display?

    Are they biodegradable? Carbon footprint? Do I need to go without lights for a few days to offset the energy used?
