Saipan had its handgun ban overturned and did not appeal. The local PTA tried to intervene. The Ninth circuit is taking them seriously because it is giving both sides 20 minutes. ESQappellate what do you think is going on?

David Radich v. James Deleon Guerrero - A teacher association appeals from the denial of its motion to intervene in order to challenge a decision which invalidated the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Island's prohibition on the possession and importation of handguns. [1:14-cv-00020]

Wasn't there a SCOTUS gay marriage case a few years ago where the state basically abandoned the defense of their ban, and some citizens tried to defend it and couldn't get standing?
This seems to be the same thing. Don't know how they can get standing, but, of course, this is the 9th Circuit.
Although, on second thought, they may be so inept that it may help us. Even assuming they get standing, I think the public carry issue gets decided by Young.

google is your friend, I am not.
seems like we have at least two that the case is moot and PTSA does not have standing... but the guy who argued for SAF had to be helped out with the Supreme Court case on standing,/injury which seemed to be on point.

Wow, the 2a guy should not be speaking at all! With representation like this stick a fork in the butt of the 2a.

It was painful to watch and listen to.

The Ninth Circuit says the PTA has no standing so SAF's win stands
