Cool what projectile are you going to use?

Also is that a drawing of a countertop on your legal pad?

I guess that would be pertinent information haha, I'm loading up Hornady 140 gr 6.5 ELD match bullets. Yes! I'm slowing designing a new counter and cabinets for my gun room. Currently i have a table and cheap racking.

My 1894 Krag bolt closes on a field gage. But it won't close on a field gage with a single layer (.003 inches) of blue painter's tape applied to the bolt face. That would make the chamber about .001 to .002 too long.

So I tried neck sizing for the first time. Since all I'm reading says that's the best fix for slightly out of spec head space.

It's a neat little trick. They chambered fine. And the fire formed cases solve the head space issue.

I've been using 140g Nosler Custom Competition because I couldnt find ELD's anywhere.

If you weren't so far I offer to give you some free laminate sheets for your countertop. I've got tons of scrap in my shop.

Yea I took awhile to find them but I eventually did from a mom and pop type company. I appreciate that, I probably won't start on that project until next winter though. To many pressing projects now

Seems like a good time to reload about 300 9mm to take my mind off a crappy day at work.

First time really cranking out 9mm on the LNL too.

I started a new storage bin for a new caliber. A buddy has a .50 AE and I was able to chalk it off the bucket list. I snagged dies for 50 AE for him a while back, but now he is giving me brass to store for him. For some reason, he want to load the 50 AE on my Dillon...

9mm

Loaded some 9mm for the first time. I thought I would never load 9mm since it looked like the price for 9mm was coming down and it didn't make sense to invest in the dies because I don't shoot enough to make it worthwhile. However, my new 1911 9mm recommends 124gn ammo and that is usually harder to find and more expensive than 115 gn. I bought a set of dies from a member here for $30 and Cabalas had 124g bullets for $21 for 250. I enjoy reloading on my Lee Turret Press so now I have another caliber to play with.

Even if the price is coming down, just think that you will be making match quality ammunition tailored to your firearm. You can't buy that for 18 cents a round. Enjoy your new dies!

I figured about 14 cents a round. 9 cents for the bullet, 4 cents for the primer and about 1 cent for the powder. Recycling my brass. I got a pound of Bullseye for $20.00.
