Normally when you buy a dedicated .22 AR barrel it comes with the adapter that goes right on the CMMG/Ceiner bolt assembly. And like he said you pop the .223 adapter off and pop the dedicated .22 one on. All you have to do. Everything else is AR. Now if you don't already have an AR CMMG conversion kit you will need to buy some or almost all of it to get the parts you need which are everything in the bolt and carrier.
I went from a conversion kit to a full on .22 AR so I know the drill.

Well the bolt collar, the part you replace the .223 adapter with is $40 most places and barrels are as cheap as $130 if you look (maybe some $99 out there), so around $140-$170 is maybe the cheapest you might pay. Some barrels include the bolt collar in the price and some don't. Either way you can't shoot without it.

I used a bunch of Taacom stuff when I built mine. He's out of the 22 game. It looks like these guys either bought out his inventory or picked up Taacom's products. Anyways, the Taacom stuff I bought was very good. The barrel put 10 shots of CCI SV into a 1/2 inch at 50 yards. Barrel includes the collar.

The barrel and collar showed up today. They came from RTB. Pretty fast shipping considering. Changing the collar is easy.

My CMMG conversion kit I built into a full fledged competition AR-22. Started with a Magtech magnesium alloy lower receiver for weight and added a stripped Aero Precision upper. Bought an aluminum alloy sleeved barrel from Taccom which came with the part to convert the CMMG from AR chamber to .22LR chamber. Added a Taccom carbon fiber pencil stock and handguard and a Timney drop in trigger. An Ergo grip and some miscellaneous AR parts later I had an AR-22 rifle. That and some BDM metal lipped translucent magazines.

I got a response from them:

It will if you use this in lieu of the chamber adapter:

RTB link: (note its the same part #)

Now, just need to pick the barrel. HMM wonder which is more accurate?

I have one of those adapters in my parts drawer. I accidentally bought 2 a long time ago.
I paid $10 for mine. The price has gone up a lot in 3 years.
It is yours if you want it.

twas breezy. Did not even think about that. Will have to try again on a calm morning. I also have CCI Green Tag as well as some of the Ely Match in my stores to try .
I can say this, all you really hear w/ the suppressor is the chatter of that CMMG flying back and forth.
I also shot this offhand at steel torso target @ 100 yards at the end. I may just put a red dot on this.

Sighted in at 50yards at about 1” high as the squirrels at my feeder are about 65-70yds

22 braced pistols are fun. Have a couple CMMG 22 pattern builds, pretty easy to put together, and while they can cost about the same as a 5.56 AR build, you can build them how you want. Have a 16" M4gery and a 4.5" on a P80, they run well, ended up being inexpensive being I used a lot of stuff from my "parts bin". Have a couple 10/22s also, the 10/22 is quieter suppressed, slimmer mags, but they all are about the same accuracy and reliability. I try to snag the RTB barrel/ bolt/ 3 mag combo, probably the best deal to be had. The mags are OK, soft feed lips, Black dogs are better, but the CMMG/RTB work. The S&W 15-22 is cool, but doesn't have the options of an AR based 22 kit. The upper can also be swapped on other pistols and SBRs
