The wife went to the store yesterday. She said the only things that the Weis in Edgewater was sold out of was paper towels and regular bottled water. There was still some "fancy" water left tho...

    They had TP?

    Total madness.

Went to Sam's Club ("Waldawf") yesterday, to take advantage of the 'Senior Citizens' Hours', and got in line at 7:15 a.m. (Senior Citizen Hours are 7-9 a.m. on Tuesdays.)

Line moved quickly. They're limiting the number of people in the store, at a time.

Four pallets of TP gone by the time I got in, and got to the back of the store where they're stacked.
Four pallets of paper towels gone in the same amount of time.

The fresh meat section was virtually empty. Yeah, there were a FEW steaks and chops in the case, but, hardly anything else.

I said (kinda softly) aloud, "Well, welcome to Socialism", and a guy passing me replied, "Yeah. _ _ _ _ Sanders!" :D

    Firearms and ammo:
Had a neighbor come over and knock on my front door last night. (The illegitimate son of an illegitimate mother hardly ever speaks to me, unless he wants to borrow something, or ask me to help him with something.)

I greeted him through the door, and he asked if he could borrow a shotgun and a couple of boxes of shells, until the panic is over.

    I laughed, out loud!!!!!!!
I told him that we may have been neighbors for over 30 years, but, he has some freakin' nerve.

He and/or his family has done NOTHING for me and my family. Ever.

He gave me this 'line of B.S.' "Yeah, some Christian neighbor you are!"

"Joe, you've had 4 of your 6 kids in the Boy Scouts. Two of them with my son. Did you not learn anything????? BE PREPARED. You've NEVER done a da _ _ thing for me and mine. Explain to me WHY I should or even have to, loan you a firearm!"

He turned away from the door, mumbled something and walked back to his house, in the cul-de-sac.

Could have saved some bad feelings towards you by pointing out that the Maryland General Assembly just outlawed your ability to help him out.

(Even though not in effect yet, but he won't know that.)

After 32 years of his one-way attitude, I really don't care if he has bad feelings towards me.

Bad attitude?????? Maybe. But, I'm to that point in my life where I don't care.

I've never been more serious. He and his family have never even offered to help anyone in our family, but, he's certainly asked for (and received) help.
