What is the minimum distance to shoot steel targets on the pistol range?

Except the 4 slots far right: 25 yds

Current rules are posted on the AGC website.

I know I could look it up:rolleyes: but it's easier to ask you :D : Is that the same lane that allows drawing from holster (for those qualified?) Being able to practice drawing and shooting steel would be pretty cool:innocent0

I was recently at the Arlington Rifle and Pistol steel shoot and they had various steel targets setup as close as 12yds. Does anyone know if this is allowed only because it was a special hosted event.

Yes, I do know that club events can bend the rules. I'm sure there still has to be some sort of approval.

    Yes!!

Actually there is more than one for steel over there.

club rules are different than steel rules for individuals.

Correct. Chapter XIX of the Policy and Procedures manual give clubs special exceptions for club events.
