I was curious if it’d be worth it to buy one? Since I was thinking about either getting a .223 ak or an m1 carbine in the future.

If you want it for something different and it's not more than $700 I'd bite. If you just want a semi auto in 5.56 you'll be better off with an AR-15.

Yugoslav pattern AK rifles have some proprietary parts, especially in a non standard caliber like 5.56.

My buddy has one and loves it. Loves it so much, he bought 2 more. Soft shooter, pretty accurate. I wanted to buy/trade one from him a while ago, but he kept them. Best part is you don't have to search out rare or expensive mags. And they are MD legal.
