    In New Jersey i heard they were talking about banning shotgun slugs 30.06 and .308 becuase they could Armour peirce through police body Armour which is mostly only level II or level III.

    I haven't heard any talk of that. Where did you hear that from? They did pass a useless bill in the Assembly that bans sale of armor passing ammo in handguns. Which I thought federal law already covered that.

    I wonder if these hunters would consider my m1917 Enfield (5+1 3006), SMLE4, Garand or SKS hunting rifles. While the M1917 Enfield is the closest to normal hunting capacities, both ENfields and the Garand would make good long range rifles, the SKS should make a decent brush or hog rifle
