Ordered this a couple years and the order got cancelled because none were in stock. I think they only do a run every few years or so. Got it on sale from Optics Planet for $190.

Thinking of doing a survey of all my AR barrels. I have stockpile of different bolts too. Curious to see how much headspace varies and if any particular bolts are outliers.

What would be of interest to you guys?

One thing I think that may be interesting is it could be used to setup reloading dies for shoulder bump. Measure headspace of rifle. Select gauge a couple thousandths smaller. Use it to set the die.

223 match only? Or would it possibly work with a 223 Wylde chamber??

Have an 18 inch white oak barreled SPR I would love to have checked...

In this case, "match" simply refers to it being a complete set not that it is intended for a tighter chamber. It doesn't measure chamber tightness, simply headspace. If you were building a match rifle, you could in theory set the headspace to precisely what you want using these gauges.

Honestly I think the main difference between 223, 5.56 and Wylde is the throat area.....I am sure someone (Clandestine) will correct me if I am wrong
