    Agreed, 3200.00 for a semi is crazy, you can get a new Guerini Summit Sporting O/U for that money.

    Has anyone ever heard of sheathing leather over walnut and if so, what is the purpose?

    The only thing I’ve seen is some people put a soft comb on their shotgun to help with recoil.
    There’s usually some padding underneath the leather. I feel that if you need that you’ve got other problems with the stock not fitting you right.
