I use to work with one of the guys that was trying to make this happen. He was looking for investors and land the last I spoke with thim, that was a bout 2 yrs ago. So far they are not building any ranges in HarCo

According to their website we can join for $10,000..... Granted, that's their "primo" deal... but still......... Why not just be upfront and say your looking for investors....

Yeah, the whole "Donation" thing is very curious..... Maybe just a novel attempt to get financing, but...... curious non-the-less.
Apparently the website has been up since Oct 2007, according to their "calender"... just noticed the dates...
Unfortunately this appears to be dead in the water.... Hope I'm wrong....
I'd like to buy the Orioles, so I'm going to set up a website asking for donations...

I received info on the this. They were asking for donations. I have to find that email again. I hope I didn't delete it.
I know the guy that was trying to do this and after extensive conversations with him I don't see this thing happening. He has no financial backing and a very lofty dream and that's about it. His plan would cost millions to accomplish, join delta or one of the other ranges as this guy has been trying to do this for years.
